Meet
Dr. Steven M. Smith, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Steven Smith completed his undergraduate studies at Otterbein University in 1991. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology, where he graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude. After working at a local hospital, he decided to return to school and study dentistry at The Ohio State University. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. Following graduation from dental school, he completed a hospital-based one-year General Practice Residency. It was during this year that he decided to focus his entire practice on endodontics, and was accepted into the specialty program at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. In 1999, he was awarded his Masters of Science in Endodontics, and later that year joined Central Ohio Endodontics.
Dr. Smith strives to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art endodontic care to his patients. He continues to advance his education through various clubs and organizations. He acts as an Endodontic Advisor to a local branch of the Seattle Study Club with a mission to offer clinicians exceptional and advanced dental excellence for their patients. Dr. Smith has been selected by his peers as one of Columbus Monthly’s top endodontists. He has donated endodontic treatment for animals at the Columbus Zoo with his most memorable experience treating Ken the Mandrill. He is an active part of the dental team that participates with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
When not treating patients, Dr. Smith enjoys traveling, cooking, golfing, photography, and spending time with his family.
